Independent Resources, Inc. (IRI) will hold its 14th Annual Disability Ball from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Chase Center on the Riverfront in Wilmington, Del. This event – the only one of its kind in the country – brings together many different disabled communities, not only to have a good time, but, perhaps, to create a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Because many disabled people never had the opportunity to attend a high school prom or other formal event, the Disability Ball was created.
Tickets for the Ball are $65 and must be purchased by October 13. No tickets will be sold after October 13.
Tables can accommodate from seven to 10 guests based on seating requirements, e.g., number of wheelchairs and scooters, if applicable.
All guests who require special meals (vegetarian, dairy-free, gluten-free, etc.) or special meal preparations (pureed, mechanical soft, mechanical chopped) must check the appropriate box(es) on the registration form.
The Chase Center is located at 815 Justison St., Wilmington, DE 19801.
